Amy Winehouse has vowed she will not allow her husband to go ahead with his divorce plan.
Blake Fielder-Civil – currently in jail for assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice – has recently instructed a lawyer to file for divorce signaling the end of the couple's tumultuous union.
But the singer is quoted in the U.K. newspaper The Sun promising to fight that.
"I still love my Blake. I won't let him divorce me," she told the newspaper.
And explaining her recent behavior that has seen her hanging out with a rugby player-turned-actor Josh Bowman, Winehouse, 25, says that doesn't mean she is not going to have "some fun" and a "good time".
She made her comments during her extended vacation in St Lucia. In a break from her partying, she is pictured playing Scrabble as she chats about her life.
And she says she loves Fielder-Civil "because he's just like me."
"Blake is the male version of me. We're perfect for each other. I don't want to go back home to England. I want to wait for Blake here," she is quoted saying.
She says she has not been "doing drugs" and, speaking of Bowman, she added, "Josh was lovely. But it was a holiday thing. I¹ve got my Blake."
Despite her vow, Fielder-Civil's family hopes that the divorce ultimately will happen, with his mother Georgette Civil telling PEOPLE on Jan. 12, "It will go through this time, it will go ahead."
